Bodnath Stupa

After Pashupatinath, rather than going home we made a quick hike and short taxi ride out to Bodnath. Here there is the largest Stupa in Nepal. (World?) Here are some pics of the river that surrounds Pashupatinath and crossing the bridge. It was close to sunset so we had to hurry...or else the monsters would come out...actually, just lots and lots of stray dogs, but sometimes they sound like monsters!

Check out some of the pics of the Stupa. It was an incredible place with lots of people making their clockwise rounds before calling it a night. We saw many monks.

What other than a few cups of Tibetan Beer to finish off a great birthday!
